Tours and workshops appeal to children, teens, and adults. Some of our programs are designed to be intergenerational and some focus on a particular age group.

Our guides—art historians, art educators and artists—offer a lively way to engage with art, in proximity to original artworks. All programs are handicap accessible to the greatest possible extent. Programs that are designed for people with special needs are identified as such.

Discovery and Research › Kindergartens and Schools

An Informal Classroom

We offer age-appropriate tours and workshops for school classes and kindergarten groups that address various subjects.
Our 50-minute tours provide the opportunity to engage in a discussion about art in the exhibition galleries.

In addition to a tour, our two-hour workshops use hands-on activities to allow children, through their own actions, to understand the art processes and the background used to create the originals. The workshops are held in the studio or the exhibition galleries depending on the subject.

For school classes and kindergarten groups we provide the opportunity to schedule an educational program outside normal opening hours, Mondays to Fridays from 9–11 a.m.

We invite teachers to attend professional development sessions on the current exhibition.
